West Highland White Terrier
Smart and confident, Westies are entertaining and a joy to be around. They are a small but sturdy dog bred to hunt rats and other rodents. Westies are plucky and self-reliant; they do not require pampering. They are independent and will often chase anything that moves. Training will take time and patience, however, they are affectionate with family and good with other dogs and young children.
