Friendly and playful as puppies, Scottish Terriers (Scotties) mature into a bold, steady and dignified adult. They are self-reliant and fearless, thus, they think for themselves. Scotties bond with their family and get along with other household pets. In addition, they enjoy children, if treated with kindness. The Scottish Terrier is content with daily walks and not built for long-distance jogging. Scotties adapt to the activity level of its family.
